Neal Shannon has 12 years of real estate asset and facility management experience and has overseen $350 million of capital improvements on residential and commercial properties. Mr. Shannon joined Avenue Living in 2009 when the organization owned under 200 residential units, and supported the success and growth of the business from $20 million to over $6.0 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM).

Mr. Shannon has built and led new departments for Avenue Living including the call centre, operations, IT/IS, procurement, and most recently capital projects. Mr. Shannon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and holds a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation registered with APEGA. Prior to starting at Avenue Living, he was a Senior Engineer with a multi-national manufacturer in a role that focused on lean manufacturing. He was responsible for designing and building new production lines and accountable for their efficiency and productivity.
