The Avenue Living strategy concentrates on realizing steady returns by acquiring assets in geographically and economically varied markets. Our method of enhancing assets and building equity is not only logical, but measurable and replicable. By fostering long-term value from existing infrastructure, we positively impact not only our business and investors, but also the communities we serve.

Though we have broadened our scope and diversified our asset base, our mission stands strong: to invest in real estate that serves everyday North Americans. Our funds encompass core, core plus and value-add strategies while remaining diligent through data-driven decisions, and drawing on our proven track record at every stage of the investment life cycle.

Building a Proprietary Platform

With our first property in Brooks, Alberta, we embarked on a journey to consolidate multi-family residential assets in markets that fly under the radar of most investorsWith institutional property managers focused on serving primary markets, we identified the need to build a proprietary platform that could deliver an exceptional experience to our growing resident base in secondary and tertiary markets.

Our proprietary platform has grown alongside us as we have replicated our strategy of acquiring and optimizing real estate assets across strategically identified markets in Canada and the United StatesOur unique approach has made us one of the largest private real estate owner/operators in North America. 

Charting the Course

2023 Year-End Review

In 2023,  Avenue Living focused on asset performance, operational efficiency, and customer experience, enhancing sustainability efforts, while navigating a changing market. We closed several large acquisitions in 2023, expanding our portfolio and achieving nearly $6 billion in assets under management. Sustainability remained a priority, with ongoing deep energy retrofit projects and a commitment to responsible investment.

Avenue Living looks forward to 2024 with a continued commitment to ‘Investing in the Everyday,’ enabled by the support of customers, investors, and employees.
