Avenue Living Communities is making it more convenient for residents to pay their rent. The Calgary-based company has introduced both weekly and semi-monthly payment options for residents who may need to better budget their finances during the challenges brought on by the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, most businesses have had to close their doors. Half of the country ‘s small businesses have already seen a big drop in sales and a recent report done by The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) says small firms will be pushed to the limit if the crisis continues to grow.

Avenue Living Communities has launched the Prairie Relief Team to respond to the needs of residents across its Western Canadian portfolio in a timely fashion, amid the growing concerns of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Avenue Living has ensured no renewals would face rent increases and has frozen all rent pricing for June renewals. Additionally, we have started the process of contacting residents with renewals effective April 1st, 2020 and May 1st, 2020 to notify them that any previously agreed to increases will be reduced down to prior rents.

It’s ‘business as usual’ when it comes to maintenance and repairs of our 400+ buildings across Western Canada. Avenue Living is proud to house thousands of essential workers throughout the Prairie provinces and is diligently working with residents during this crisis, to tend to any issues they may have with regards to their suites.
